Our Story

Hi everyone! My name is Athena, founder of Sophia Alexander Candle Co.  I am a mother of two, LOVE the outdoors and enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family and friends.  

Sophia Alexander came about when I realized my home was missing a sense of calm.  Having stopped using candles years ago because of the toxic unknowns,  I wanted to create something safe to use with my children and pets.  Little did I know, creating candles for my own use would ignite a passion for candles and open a door to opening up my very own small business!
